What's keirc

Keirc is a powerful Internet Relay Chat client program written for KDE. It contains virtually all of the features that you would expect in an IRC client , multiple windows session such as server message, channel message, private message query, DCC chat query, DCC send/get and more with a simple mouse operations. The integrated popup menu and the dynamic menu structure allows you to navigate this client easily and clearly.

Keirc has the following advanced features:

What can I expect in the next version of keirc ?

KEirc is still under development. So, here is the feature, you can expect in the next version of keirc-0.4.


How can I write my keirc-script ?

KEirc supports TCL Script Language. There are many tcl extended defined in kEirc. If you have experience with tcl scripting, it is very simple for you to write your own script. Here the example, you can use in the keirc.

If you write tcl script for keirc and you want to public it, please send it to me ekobono@uni-duisburg.de. I will add it to keirc homepage to make available for other users:).
